Stylized Engagement Session with Jennifer Horton Makeup

I have to say that this was one of the most amazing sessions I have done. Collaborating with Jenn was one smart move on my part. We both worked together to design and style the shoot to showcase what we feel reflects one aspect of our style. Jenn is a amazing makeup artist and is available for weddings and other events! Please go check out her facebook page for more incredible looks and to show some love www.facebook.com/MakeupArtistJenn.

I had a really hard time narrowing down my favorite images. Both Brian and Shana were great to work with and really just let us take the reins!

I wish I could ad every picture we took. I really loved all of them and I had a horrible time picking out just a few to edit.
I just wanted to thank Jenn again she was my second set of eyes and hands at this shoot and she really helped it all come together from the clothing to her beautiful make up! I can't wait to work together again really soon!

In my Mommy's Gown!

I had the wonderful opportunity last weekend to photograph one of the most adorable little girls in her Mommy's very own wedding dress. The Mom found the idea on Pinterest and asked me to develop it into something similar and special for her daughter. Mom is about to cut the dress up to make her daughter a flower girl dress for her soon to be sister in laws wedding. I wanted this to be a memorable shoot and a way to preserve the memories of Moms wedding. I hope that I accomplished that and more. I personally am in love with these images and rank up there with some of my favorites to date. I  just wanted to share a few images of this really fun shoot! I hope you enjoy them and find them as special as I do

Aren't these images just adorable. I think this is a special way to remember your wedding day and would be a beautiful to display at your daughters wedding when she is grown. Honestly what little girl doesn't want to play princess for a day !

Have a fantabulous day!

Sandy Puc Bellies and Babies Workshop

Today and for the next few days I am taking an online workshop by Sandy Puc at creativeLIVE.com. She is amazing. I am learning so so much and I can't wait to use all her tips and tricks. I am so glad I am getting the chance to learn so much about the photography business. I am so excited about all I am learning and the chance I have to bring it to my potential clients.

On another exciting note. I had my very first logo created for Stargazer Photography! Heather at CoffeeShop Designs did an amazing job! I hope you enjoy it!

Yes, I am a little late with this one but here is a Valentines Picture of the Bug my sweet baby. I hope you enjoy my photographs and give me a chance to capture images of you and your family!

Well blogging world here I am!

Well as the title suggest I am new to the blogging world. Ive never ventured in to the world of online thought recording so bare with me. So for my first blog I decided to discuss two of my most favorite things, photography and my little one, Lily.   I have to say that I have loved taking pictures since I was a child. I loved capturing special moments spent with family and friends. The older I became the more important capturing these moments became. Then I had Lily. She is a my excuse for constantly carrying around a camera. I do not want to miss a moment of her life. She loves getting her picture made.. I don't know if it is because of my constant insistence that she consent to regular photo ops or she is just ham but either way she has helped me grow as a photographer. I am beginning to learn  how to use natural light to my advantage and how to compose a pleasing photograph. This is something I love so much that I really am trying to learn and pursue it in a more serious manner. Could this be what I was meant to do? I certainly hope so. When I have my camera stuck to my face I am so relaxed and happy. The ensuing hours spent editing the photographs is one of my favorite stress relievers. Although when I can not get the picture to turn out correct it can be a stress inducer. Either way photography is my passion. Whether I make it to the professional level or not I will always LOVE taking photograph and I will always treasure the memories they bring!
